Yes. The file is in .xlsx format; it opens in Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc, WPS Office and Numbers. The formulas work in these programs as well.
The formulas in the template are set up for up to 300 rows. For more, just select the last row and drag it down. Excel becomes slow beyond a few thousand rows; at that point it is healthier to move to inventory software.
You can edit it with the Excel mobile apps, but wide tables are cumbersome on a phone. If you update frequently in the field, a mobile-friendly inventory app is more practical.
Barcode scanners work like a keyboard; you can place the cursor in the Product Code cell and scan. For automatic stock deduction, use it together with the product price list template.
This table only holds the total quantity in, out and remaining. To record each goods receipt, sales issue, transfer and write-off separately, with the signatures of the person handing over and the person receiving, use the warehouse receipt and issue voucher Excel template; add the quantity on the voucher to the In or Out column here. When a count difference appears, you can find the cause in the vouchers.
