Warehouse Count / Inventory Excel
Compares the quantity in your system with the physical count and automatically reports shortages, surpluses and the value of the loss.
The asset assignment tracking Excel template (zimmet takip) is a ready-made workbook with the formulas already set up. In a single table it shows which employee each piece of company equipment was handed to, when it was issued and whether its return is overdue. Just fill in the assignment number, employee, asset and serial number fields; the status column checks the return date and automatically writes "ASSIGNED", "OVERDUE" or "RETURNED" and colors the row. It can be used for any asset handed to staff, such as laptops, phones, handheld terminals, tools and work clothing.
Excel (.xlsx) · formulas, drop-down lists and colored alerts built in · no membership required.
| Column | What it does |
|---|---|
| Assignment No. | The serial number you give each handover record. Used to match it with the signed assignment form. |
| Employee / Department | The person who received the asset and the department they belong to. Department is a drop-down list, and you can change the list on the "Lists" sheet. |
| Asset Code / Name | The internal code and name that identify the item. If you give it a code, matching it with the count and inventory templates becomes easier. |
| Category | Computer, phone, vehicle, warehouse equipment, tool, furniture or clothing. Selected from a drop-down list. |
| Serial / Barcode No. | The device's serial number or asset tag. If you have several of the same model, this tells you which one is with whom. |
| Quantity / Unit Value | The quantity handed over and the value per unit. |
| Total Value | Automatic: Quantity × Unit Value. |
| Assignment Date / Planned Return | The day it was handed over and the date it is planned to be taken back. Planned return can be left empty (open-ended assignment). |
| Return Date | Fill it in when the asset is taken back. The moment this cell is filled, the record is closed. |
| Status | Automatic: RETURNED (green) if returned, OVERDUE (red) if the planned return date has passed, otherwise ASSIGNED (yellow). |
Zimmet is when a company asset is handed to a specific employee and becomes that employee's responsibility. The record shows who has the item and when it is due back.
Yes. The file is free, doesn't ask for a sign-up or email, and has no watermark. You can use and modify it freely in your business.
No. This template is a tracking list; the legally binding handover document is the assignment form (zimmet tutanağı) the employee signs. Use the list as a register of your forms, and keep the signed document separately.
The "Status" column colors red as OVERDUE any row where the Planned Return date has passed but the Return Date is empty. The Summary sheet also shows the number of these records.
Yes. Open a separate row for each asset; the employee count on the Summary sheet counts repeated names only once.
The formulas are set up for up to 300 rows. For more, select the last row and drag it down. When the number of records grows and several people start updating the same list, moving to a shared dashboard is the healthier choice.
